meet the Steering committee—

The Fresco Steering Committee is a dedicated team of community volunteers who are working as organizers and fundraisers for the creation of the Haywood Street Fresco. This team meets on a regular basis to guide the process, plan supporting events, and increase awareness of the project through Western North Carolina. The Steering Committee is committed to creating a meaningful visitors’ experience for all who will come to enjoy this work of art.

Currently, the committee is seeking additional assistance on key projects. If you are interested in volunteering your time and skills to a Fresco sub-committee, please contact Pam Siekman, Fresco Chairperson. Areas in need of support are writing, special event planning, local education resources, technical knowledge, and a team of individuals to serve as future docents.
