Our donors give in a number of ways and we are grateful for them all.

House Parties

Fresco house parties have proven to be a incredible joyful method of fundraising and have allowed us to reach a variety of communities and patrons.

For each of these gatherings, the host invites a group of friends into their home — sharing hors d’oeuvres, good company and the story of the Haywood Street Fresco.  Rev. Brian Combs, Principal artist, Christopher Holt, and members from the Steering Committee are in attendance and take turns speaking on different aspects of the project . Inspired by the mission and meaning of this work, attendees will often make a financial contribution donation at the conclusion of the event.  If you would like to host a house party, please contact Pam Siekman, 828-335-6680 / pamsiekman@earlthlink.net.

Financial Donors

We are currently seeking financial donations to underwrite all costs associated with the Haywood Street Fresco. Naming opportunities are available.

We give thanks for our generous financial donors & for the stories behind their gifts:

As I mentioned , my late wife Kathryn was passionate about the arts. She was in her happy place when getting lost in a museum, catching a Broadway show or watching her granddaughter chalk away in the driveway. And while she loved taking in the finished piece, she had a respect unlike any other for how the painter chose the colors, how the mason picked the chisel and how the potter pulled the clay.

So when my family and I heard of the fresco being painted, we all could instantly feel her love and admiration for this project, from beginning to masterpiece.

Our family would like to make a donation, specifically for the fresco, in her honor.

Thank you,
John, Jamie, Erin & Sam
